Graduates in Plastic Arts and Artistic Technologies have the ability to harness their artistic and technological expertise across a variety of settings, both private and public, particularly as authors, engaging with different systems of production, enhancing and marketing their projects.

This involves partnerships with entities like museums, galleries, cultural spaces and organisations focused on social and cultural activities, especially those associated with both tangible and intangible artistic heritage.

Qualifying Work Experience:
In line with current legislation, prior professional experience of students in the course area may be valued for accreditation (if applicable). Moreover, for students coming from some CTeSPs (Higher Professional Technical Courses) at the ESE-IPVC in the Arts field, specific equivalence plans have already been approved by the IPVC Scientific and Technical Council.
Projects
– Exhibition by students on the Bachelor’s Degree Course in Fine Arts and Creative Technologies “Arte na Leira” event in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
– Exhibition of a collective work by FACT students at the “XX Cerveira International Art Biennial”, Vila Nova de Cerveira, 2018.
– Arts project presented by students from the Bachelor’s Degree Course in Fine Arts and Creative Technologies at the “Gender in Art – Body, Sexuality, Identity, Resistance” exhibition, held at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Chiado, Lisbon, 2018.
– Project and creation of a mural painted by students from the Fine Arts and Creative Technologies course at the “Interdecoração 2018” Fair at EXPONOR in Matosinhos, 2018.
– Exhibition of works by students from the Fine Arts and Creative Technologies course in art galleries in the city of Viana do Castelo: Galeria Barca D’Artes; Galeria de Arte da Casa Manuel Espregueira; Galeria da Santa Casa da Misericórdia, 2019.
– Exhibition of works by students from the Fine Arts and Creative Technologies course at the IPVC Cultural Workshop Gallery in Viana do Castelo, 2020.
