• To stimulate interest in artistic practices applied to production related to both traditional and/or contemporary culture.
• To advocate the inclusion of the visual artist in integrated projects and/or services across diverse local, national or global working environments and structures.

Learning Outcomes

• To enhance the skills in the fundamental aspects of fine arts, gaining insight into visual elements, hands-on craftsmanship and the perception of imagery, objects, space, context and endeavours in both private and public domains.
• To achieve the ability to work independently in the art-making process, honing expertise in a range of materials, methods and technologies. This proficiency allows for their application in artistic creations and a variety of professional endeavours across local, national and global social landscapes.
• To understand and control the technical and creative possibilities of traditional artistic mediums – such as drawing, painting, sculpture, etc. – as well as digital audiovisuals that range from recording and reproducibility to the production and communication of content in formats involving image, sound and movement.
