Professional and Technical Program
Professional and Technical Programs are higher education programs with a duration of four academic semesters (120 ECTS), including an internship for one academic semester (30 ECTS).
A Professional and Technical program confers the Professional and Technical Diploma and has a Level 5 classification in the National Qualifications Framework. A graduate of this program can also apply to IPVC licentiate degree programs without taking the entrance exams and receive partial accreditation for their training.

Those over 23 years old who have passed the special tests designed to assess their ability to attend higher education programs can also apply.
All Professional and Technical students have access to Academic Social Action (after applying to and being placed in the program) and are able to apply for a scholarship, accommodations, and other benefits of IPVC Social Action Services (SAS).

National applicants or the equivalent
International applicants (applicants who are not Portuguese citizens, who are not citizens of a European Union member state, who are not family members of Portuguese citizens or of citizens of a European Union member state, who have not lived in Portugal continuously for more than 2 years as of January 1st of the application year, who are not beneficiaries of the equal rights and duties granted under international treaty as of January 1st of the application year, who do not apply to a higher education program through the special access and admission regimes)
The application must include the following documents:
a) Copy of identification document – BI/Citizen Card/Passport – (optional)
b) Copy of the document which proves the applicant’s qualification, along with one of the following documents:

The application must be submitted online through the IPVC platform by uploading the documents listed below (maximum total: 5MB).
