Access Office

The Higher Education Access Office of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (GAES-IPVC) is part of the network of Higher Education Access Offices coordinated by the Directorate General of Higher Education (DGES). It ensures support to applicants to the entire Portuguese Higher Education system – National Admissions Process, Regimes, and Special quotas.

The IPVC Higher Education Access Office (GAES-IPVC) is available to all applicants residing in the District of Viana do Castelo. It is located in the IPVC Central Services building located on Rua Escola Industrial e Comercial de Nun’Álvares, 34, in Viana do Castelo. GAES operates only during the effective application period for Higher Education programs (1st, 2nd, and 3rd phases), according to the annual calendar of the DGES.
