Are class participation and performance in mandatory in-person activities accounted for in the final grade?

Yes, they may be considered in the final grade. In these cases, the student’s participation rate and performance should always be quantified and factored into the calculation of the final grade, as indicated in each Curricular Unit.

I am a student employee, am I required to maintain the mandatory minimum class participation?

Yes. By rule, these curricular units have specific rules regarding participation and performance as regulated by the school. You should consult the regulation for evaluation and attendance of the School of Health Professions (ESS) and the School of Education (ESE).
