In accordance with the entry conditions set out in Articles 17 and 18 of Decree-Law No. 79/2014, of 14 May, holders of a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Education who demonstrate an oral and written command of the Portuguese language and mastery of the essential rules of logical and critical argumentation may apply to this course.
The assessment of the oral and written command of the Portuguese language and command of the essential rules of logical and critical argumentation is carried out through a test, to be scheduled by the institution, divided into two parts (written assessment test; oral assessment test – Interview), which aims to assess the candidate’s communication skills, as well as their command of the essential rules of logical and critical argumentation. The test consists of a series of oral and written comprehension and production tasks, namely: interpreting and understanding texts of different types; analysing and summarising statements; constructing logical, relevant and well-founded lines of argument; structuring texts/statements using discursive and linguistic strategies appropriate to arguing a point of view; using grammar appropriately and proficiently.
Bachelor’s degree or legal equivalent with a minimum of 30 credits in Portuguese, 30 credits in Mathematics, 30 credits in Environmental Studies (Natural Sciences and History and Geography of Portugal), 30 credits in Arts; 15 credits in General Educational Training and 15 credits in Specific Didactics.
