Projects
Business Organisation and Management students develop as Leaders for the Future throughout their studies. This is an integrated and multidisciplinary project in business sciences that aims to stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive culture, through the implementation of projects that help resolve problems and improve organisational processes, to boost the creation of their own businesses.
Mariana Cardoso worked on the Revitalising Project in the traditional production sectors in the Peneda-Gerês National Park (PNPG) – RevitAGRI. This application was developed in partnership with the School of Agriculture (ESA) and the School of Business Sciences (ESCE) and aims to revitalise the traditional production sectors in the PNPG, focusing on agribusiness. According to a February 2016 report by the CCDRN on the enhancement plan for the Peneda-Gerês Biosphere Reserve/National Park, there were priority areas of intervention in the PNPG. Mariana Cardoso worked on gathering information on business structures and developing initiatives to promote and raise awareness of the importance of family businesses. To this end, seminars and workshops were held in the different PNPG municipalities.
André Correia participated as a team member in the IRUDESCA (ERASMUS +) Project.
IRUDESCA was a project led by IPVC and funded by the European Union through the ERASMUS+ programme. This project had other European universities and Central American institutions as partners. The project involved European teachers training Central American teachers to develop the necessary skills so that their students would later be able to develop economically innovative or ecologically sustainable projects. In André’s words “My participation in this project was to provide administrative support. For me, it was one of the most enriching experiences of my life, not least because I had the opportunity to travel to Central America and get to know countries like Honduras and Panama.”
Sorry, this entry is only available in European Portuguese.
