The Higher Technical Professional Course (CTESP) in Agrifood Marketing (MKTA) aims to contribute to enhancing the commercial structures and contexts of agricultural and agrifood products produced in Portugal, with a specific emphasis on the geographic areas of the ESA-IPVC.
In this context, the wine, dairy, meat and vegetable sectors are particularly important.
The olive oil, honey and seafood industries also deserve special attention.
With a focus on the market, this course equips students with the fundamental tools needed to identify commercial challenges, offer solutions and, in certain situations, devise and implement marketing strategies.
In this context, the course places an emphasis on hands-on techniques, ensuring real-world application.
Structured around twenty course units, the CTESP in MKTA offers a curriculum deeply rooted in marketing subjects, notably those arising from contemporary customer or final consumer relationship frameworks.
Special attention is also paid to the topics of traceability, food safety, digital communication, interpersonal relationships and business management.
While the MKTA course especially highlights the added value of processed agricultural products, it ensures that all graduates attain a strong grasp of overarching marketing concepts, equipping them to take on roles in this domain across various industries.
Access
Who can apply:
Candidates over the age of 23 who have passed the exams designed to assess their capacity for higher education attendance can also apply.
National Applicants or equivalent
International applicants (applicants who do not hold Portuguese citizenship, are not citizens of a EU member state and are not family members of Portuguese or citizens of a EU member state, have not lived in Portugal continuously for more than two years as of 1 January of the application year, are not beneficiaries of equal rights and duties status granted under an international treaty as of 1 January of the application year and who are not applying for higher education admission through special admissions and special entry routes).
All foreign applicants must request the equivalence of their secondary education qualifications from their home country from a Portuguese secondary school. The equivalence of your certificate to Portuguese secondary education is a mandatory requirement for the application.
