The main objective of this course is to train professionals who are able to collaborate and develop activities related to the design and development of means of production, analysis and interpretation appropriate to the execution of a piece, namely to:

• Propose technical manufacturing solutions according to the technical capacities available;
• Use automatic manufacturing technologies and create 3D models using specific software for industrial machining;
• Prepare materials and operate tools and measuring instruments for final control;
• Draw up a manufacturing programme and monitor its execution, in accordance with the production objectives set, using automatic machining;
• Developing technical-commercial activities in the areas of machine tools used in additive and subtractive machining;
• Ensure the maintenance of the machines and tools used, taking into account the preservation of the environment, safety, hygiene and prevention at work;
• Use the skills acquired to enhance the role of direct digital manufacturing processes in creating value, duly inserted in a circular economy.
