The primary mission of the Health and Well-Being Office is to provide the entire academic community with the opportunity to access healthcare services free of charge, thus contributing to the promotion of the physical, mental and social health of the students and staff of IPVC.

Opening hours:

Nursing consultations are available from Monday to Friday and can be scheduled through the SASocial platform.

Appointments:

• Curative treatment (administration of injections, dressing wounds, etc.).
• Preventive care (blood pressure assessment, blood sugar monitoring, cholesterol level measurement, rapid urine tests, sexual and reproductive health monitoring, alcohol use assessment, etc.).
• Educational sessions (health education sessions aimed at preventing unhealthy habits and promoting good health).
• Occupational medicine (medical consultations to assess IPVC staff members’ fitness for work).

O Programa para a Promoção da Saúde Mental no Ensino Superior é um programa de financiamento que promove a implementação de projetos na área de saúde mental e bem-estar apoiando as instituições na criação de uma resposta adequada às crescentes solicitações da comunidade académica nas áreas de desenvolvimento pessoal e que pretende também reforçar as respostas existentes ao nível das instituições de ensino superior na promoção da saúde mental.
