Presentation
The Postgraduate Course in Interior Design (PGID) at IPVC provides advanced training in the area of design, more specifically, interior design, and consists of multidisciplinary training that is markedly practical in nature, capable of coordinating academic knowledge and the labour market through a teaching model common to the teaching staff and the different areas at IPVC and professionals and companies specialising in the area of production/construction of interior spaces.
The resulting teaching model, according to the principles of the studio/office environment, is based on presenting the students with simulations, reproducing real cases, or the definition of new situations, giving rising to the combination of synergies from different areas through multidisciplinary approaches.
The curricular structure seeks to provide students with specific expertise and skills in order to work in the area of training, exploring diversity in the approach to the different types of spaces, using appropriate methodologies and using work instruments suited to the different types of projects, as well as the new technologies and resources that are now available to professionals in the sector.
Apart from specialisation, the Postgraduate Course in Interior Design aims to provide retraining for professionals already working in the area.
The training proposal also seeks to provide the business fabric specific to the region with the possibility of hiring specialised officers or retraining their own staff.
