This Master’s Degree programme has the following aims:

• To broaden and bring more specialisation to the professional training of kindergarten, primary and physical education teachers, as well as professionals in sport and/or physical education, in the area of Motor Education in the Early Ages (ages 3-10).
• To provide professionals with scientific, pedagogical and didactic knowledge, skills and competences in Motor Education, in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of educational practices (formal and non-formal) and produce professionals who can contribute to change and innovation in various educational environments.
• To contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge in Motor Education, to promote policies and practices geared towards motor literacy, the assumption of an effective motor culture at an early age and in different settings and the promotion of an inclusive school that can provide adequate and necessary responses to the development of all children.
• To develop skills that enable lifelong learning in a fundamentally autonomous way.
