The Higher Professional Technical Course in Agricultural Mechanisation and Automation aims to train professionals capable of managing and planning the operation of mechanisation and automation systems in agricultural activities, encompassing both plant and livestock production. This is geared towards the efficient rationalisation of production factors, ecosystem conservation, operator safety and the quality of agrifood products.

- i) Plant production (crop cycles, crop rotation, propagation, nutrition, health, management, harvesting, post-harvesting).
- ii) Livestock production (production systems, management, reproduction, feeding).
iii) The use, maintenance and management of agricultural facilities and their equipment.
- iv) Irrigation systems and irrigation programming and management techniques.
- v) Precision agriculture techniques (coordinated systems, global positioning systems, remote sensing and geographic information systems).
